  • Chair, The Grand National Quilt Show, 2003 - 2017
  • Initiated and Chaired the first nationally run CQA/ACC Quilt Canada (QC) conference1996, Saskatoon, SK
  • Chair, Ontario Juried Quilt Show, Waterloo, ON, 1996 - 2001
  • Chaired QC 1990, coordinating a team from three guilds and ran one of the most profitable conferences, Waterloo, ON
  • Laid the groundwork for QC conferences to be nationally run while -serving as VP, President & Past President, 1990-1994
  • Coordinated the 1995 CQA/ACC NJS, while curating The State of the Art: Quilting Today in Waterloo County at JSH

Educator

  • Invited to co-write and teach the CQA/ACC Quilt Judge Certification Programme, 2009 – 2015
  • Invited to return as an instructor to six QC Conferences, including 2012 in Halifax
  • Instructed at the Canadian Embroiderers' Guild, London Summer Workshop, 2006
  • Taught and exhibited as artist-in-residence at the Greenwich Academy, Greenwich, CT, September 1994
  • Instructed in arts and crafts summer schools in Vermont every summer for the thirteen years
  • Lectured and taught for over two dozen guilds including one in Bermuda since mid 80's, often as a repeat guest
  • Invited to teach in retail establishments ongoing since 1987
  • Taught high school Mathematics and English in Montreal, Quebec and St. Albans, Vermont, 1964-1968
